How to Register Smashing Defrag

The fully functional registered version is activated by entering your Serial Number into the free evaluation version.

If you have lost your Serial Number, you can email us and we will send your Serial Number to you again.

To register Smashing Defrag:

• Click on “Register” located on the Ribbon toolbar section ( the last button) of Smashing Defrag‘s screen.
• You will now see the Register screen

• Copy and Paste your Serial Number into the registration textbox fields
• Ensure that all information is to the far left of the textbox fields and no blank spaces to the left before clicking the ‘Active Now’ button

IMPORTANT: Please Copy and Paste these details to ensure exact data entry. (See bottom of page for instructions)

1. Serial Number is case-sensitive, copy and paste instead of entering them manually.
2. Ensure there are no ‘spaces’ at the beginning or the end of the license details, use your or key to remove any entered ‘spaces’.
3. You have installed and are registering the correct product.
4. Make sure your system time is Right.

How to Copy and Paste

To ‘copy and paste’ your registration details,

1. Open the email containing your license details
2. Highlight your Serial Number. Note that you should only highlight from the first letter through to the last letter of the necessary information. Do not highlight any characters or spaces beyond these letters.
3. Next, whilst holding down the ‘Ctrl’ key, press the ‘C’ key to copy your name details.
4. Go back to the registration screen and click in the textbox field. Whilst holding down the ‘Ctrl’ key, press the ‘V’ key to paste your name details into this field.

Tip: Press the ‘Active Now’ button on the register screen to finish the registration process. Do not click other button.

Note that you will need to purchase the software in order to obtain the Serial Number.
